Urbex in France, part 1/4 : Japville Factory

Last weekend we headed for France to visit 4 places I had located. This is part 1 of 4, the Japville Factory...

This little factory was build around 1930 and is supposed to have been in business until 1980. Here they produced an oilseed cake, this being a baseproduct in aliments for animals. The name Japville comes from JAP ( Jacques, Angèle & Paul ) the 3 persons that runned this factory.

On this trip I decided to travel very light, taking only my Fuji X-E1 with its 18-55mm kitlens. I didn't even bother for my tripod, just cranked up the ISO to 1600 and sometimes beyond that. All images were shot in RAW by the way.
